Youth Art Contest

Youth from Kindergarten to 8th grade here in Morehead and Rowan County are invited to participate in the “I Love My City” Art Contest. Students are asked to submit their original artwork showing us why they love their city! Their artwork will be featured in the Morehead Police Department Building located at 309 W. Main St. There will be an award for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

• Morehead and Rowan County Students Kindergarten – 8th Grade may participate
• Must submit original artwork
• Artwork- drawing, painting, digital art.
• Along with submitting the original piece, the artist must provide a small statement that explains the art and why they love their city.
• Deadline is Friday, September 20, 2024. All work must be submitted to the Morehead Police Department Building or emailed to jfrazier@cityofmorehead.net
