DESCRIPTION:The wait is almost over\, Saturday\, May 25\, 2024 the Sheltowee Falls Splash Pad will open for the ’24 season. The facility will be open daily\, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with private rentals from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. \nThere will be concessions on hand for food and drinks. We ask that no outside food will be permitted. The Splash Pad is free during public hours. For rentals it is $100 for the two hours. You must contact Sherry Lyon to reserve the Splash Pad. She may be reached at 606.784.8686 x1 or swatson@cityofmorehead.net \nThere will be Splash Pad Attendants on site while the pad is open. We ask that our patrons enjoy their time\, but also follow our rules that are posted on the Concession Stand wall. Restrooms are available. We ask that no animals/pets are allowed\, no smoking or vaping\, no alcohol or street shoes be worn in the play area.

Clark Fish Hatchery– 120 Fish Hatchery Road\nAges: 15 and under (Must be accompanied by an adult)\nCost: FREE\nRegister: Cave Run Lake Kids Fishing Derby Registration\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for fun on the water\, Saturday\, June 1 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the grounds of the Minor E. Clark Fish Hatchery. Ages 15 and under are permitted to fish. There will be three ponds of trout\, catfish\, games and more. Of course\, the event is offered to those who register FREE OF CHARGE! Remember\, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and there is no experience required to participate. To help with traffic and allow everyone to start fishing upon arrival\, we encourage you to pre-register online. Check-in will begin at 6 a.m. Don’t forget to grab bait and a fishing pole from home if you have them\, as limited bait and fishing poles will be available. \nNotes: Hatchery gates will not open until 6 a.m. and everyone will be permitted so please be orderly in your arrival and do not block traffic or become disorderly. Everyone will have the same amount of time\, just enjoy the day and be ready to fish! \nAdditionally\, our partners will be capturing photos and videos throughout the event for use on print and digital media. \nFor those unable to join us early for the Derby\, it is still FREE FISHING WEEKEND June 1-2 so take advantage of bank fishing at Cave Run Lake Tailwaters\, Ramey Creek\, Morehead City Park\, Eagle Lake\, or fish on the open water.
