Morehead Parks & Recreation Open Pickleball Court

Morehead Parks and Recreation announced today, Wednesday, May 29, 2024 the opening of the first community Pickleball Court. The court is located on 1st Street, right by the Cora Wilson Stewart Moonlight School. This new addition will serve our residents in many ways. It will help people get active, learn the fastest growing sport in America, and can foster community with new Pickleball friends. City of Morehead administrative department and all non-essential offices will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day. Garbage collection normally scheduled for Monday pick-up, will be collected on Tuesday, May 28. Read More

Sheltowee Falls Splash Pad Opens Saturday, May 25

The wait is almost over, Saturday, May 25, 2024 the Sheltowee Falls Splash Pad will open for the ’24 season. The facility will be open daily, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with private rentals from 6:30- 8:30 p.m. There will be concessions on hand for food and drinks. We ask that no outside food will be permitted.
