Annual Freedom Fest event will be July 5-6, 2024

Join the City of Morehead, Rowan County, Downtown Morehead Inc., Morehead-Rowan County Tourism and the Morehead Optimist Club as they host the annual Morehead Freedom Fest. This year’s event is sponsored by UK St. Claire.
Friday, July 5 will kick off the event with music and food trucks in the Battson- Oates Entertainment Area at 7 p.m. The fun will continue all day Saturday, July 6 with things getting started at noon. Music, food, vendors, car show put on by the Optimist Club will all happen during the day. With the day’s events leading up to the Thunder Over Triplett fireworks show, provided by Art Rossi Pyrotechnics at the City Park.

Contact moreheadoptimistclub@gmail.com Entry fee is $20 and dash plaques for the first 50 entries. Trophies will be awarded for Best of Show, Fans Choice, Optimist Club Choice and Top 15.
There will be two stages providing music entertainment throughout the event. Main Stage will be located at Battson-Oates and gospel music will be at the Moonlight Stage. The evening will end with the Downtown Morehead Inc Freedom Fest Cash Raffle at 10 p.m. Buy Tickets now for chance to win one of ten Cash Prizes of $500 each!
