Due to difficulties faced in chemically treating flood waters from the heavy rainfall on November 30, 2019 and December 1, 2019, the water at our current intake is not able to be treated within drinking water requirements. The Morehead Utility Plant Board (MUPB) has reached out to the Army Corp of Engineers for assistance in water quality and release.
